One standard protocol (OMG DDS/RTPS), three deployment forms, covering data distribution and service-oriented communication across SOC/MPU and MCU nodes — one service-oriented language for the whole vehicle, without protocol gateways.
AutoCore.DDS is a DDS/SOA middleware family covering SOC/MPU and MCU nodes. Built on OMG DDS (DCPS) + RTPS, it provides publish/subscribe data distribution and an SOA service framework (Method / Event / Field). Three deployment forms — AutoCoreDDS (full-featured on SOC/MPU), SmartDDS (standard on MCU) and SmartDDS-lite (ultra-light on MCU) — share one wire protocol, auto-discover within the same domain and interoperate directly.
One wire protocol · Three forms · Full toolchain
SOC (AutoCoreDDS) and MCU (SmartDDS / SmartDDS-lite) share the standard RTPS wire protocol: auto-discovery and direct interoperability within one communication domain, with no protocol-conversion gateway between heterogeneous nodes.
Full-featured (SOC), balanced (standard MCU) and ultra-light (MCU lite) forms are selected node by node according to resources, and can be mixed within the same family.
SmartDDS-lite generates service resources at compile time: zero dynamic memory allocation at runtime, no memory fragmentation, build-time memory budget auditing for deterministic MCU memory use.
Full coverage of Method / Event / Field service models; service definitions drive automatic Server / Client code generation — C++ on SOC and C99 on MCU from a single definition.
AutoCoreDDS runs as a ROS 2 middleware (RMW); MCU forms interoperate over standard RTPS, letting robotics and autonomous-driving algorithm assets connect directly.
Built-in OMG DDS Security (authentication, topic-level encryption, domain / topic / endpoint access control); IDL compilation, code generation, performance testing, online debugging and SOA peer simulation.
Multi-sensor fusion and domain-wide communication with fusion latency below 10ms and efficient SoC / MCU collaboration.
Real-time data flow for multi-screen and multimodal interaction; real-time data sharing across ADAS, cockpit and chassis domains, with central compute and zone controllers.
ROS 2 compatible with adaptive on-board transport optimization; one protocol stack connects edge devices to the cloud for seamless integration.
